Life has a way of layering us with stories and wounds, often from the past, that shape the way we move through the world. Sometimes, we end up feeling disconnected from who we truly are, living out patterns and beliefs that don’t feel like us. Perhaps they’re things we’ve been taught to believe, or things we’ve adapted to in order to protect ourselves. These layers can feel heavy and out of kilter, leaving us wondering if there's a deeper version of ourselves we’ve forgotten.

At times, speaking with someone outside of our usual circle can offer a fresh perspective, helping us process the experiences that have brought us here. Therapy offers the space to reflect on the stories we’ve been told - and have come to believe - about ourselves, giving us the space to reconsider whether they still hold true.

It’s not about becoming someone new, but about shedding the layers that no longer serve us and allowing us to step into a version of our self that’s been waiting to emerge. Through this process, we can discover clarity, authenticity, and the peace that comes when we align with our own truth, no longer bound by the narratives that once held us back.

This isn’t about perfection or ‘fixing’ something; it’s about reconnecting to what’s always been within, creating possibility and the potential to find a sense of meaning, allowing us to live more fully.

I work from a humanistic perspective, grounded in the belief that people are inherently good and possess a natural capacity for self-growth and personal fulfilment when given the right environment. My approach is grounded in empathy, trust and authenticity. In a world that often asks us to hide parts of ourselves, I offer a confidential, safe space for you to explore whatever you wish to bring, and my intention will always be to support you with care and compassion, creating a therapeutic relationship built on trust and understanding.
